Curoflow and Giddir join forces for seamless handling of referrals and test results

Curoflow has entered into a partnership with Giddir, a digital platform and laboratory portal for electronic referrals. Through the integration, clinics using Curoflow can send referrals for sample collection, track the status all the way to the finished test result and share the result with the patient – without leaving the platform.

Automated referrals linked to booking

The integration makes it possible for clinics to send referrals for sample collection directly in Curoflow and then follow the entire process in real time – from the patient providing samples to the analysis being completed. Once the test results are ready, they become visible in the Curoflow platform and the care provider can choose whether the patient should be able to access the results directly via the patient portal.

Workflows can also be automated. Care providers can link specific visit types to predefined sample collection packages, so that the referral is sent automatically as soon as a visit of the selected type is booked. A clinic that, for example, always wants to take a glucose reading ahead of a particular type of visit can set that up as a package in advance – something that is then triggered automatically at booking, with no manual handling.
