Which payment methods does the platform support?

Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Klarna, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through Stripe. Invoice and in-clinic payments can also be recorded. Each clinic chooses which methods to offer and can also sell subscriptions with recurring card payments.

How do subscriptions work in Curoflow?

The clinic creates a plan with a price, billing period, and number of included visits. The patient signs up and authorizes the payment. Their card is charged automatically each period, visits within the plan are free of charge, and any extra visits are billed at the regular price.

Can we connect payments to our accounting system?

Yes. The export includes VAT, period, and payment method, and can be imported into most accounting systems. Curoflow also offers a built-in Fortnox integration.

How much does the payment feature cost?

Payments are included in the Curoflow platform on both the Standard and Growth plans. Transaction fees apply according to the payment provider’s pricing. See our pricing page for details.

Can patients pay for in-person visits too?

Yes. Every visit type – in-person, video, and chat – gets a fee that the patient can pay in the portal, in the app, or at the clinic. The receipt is always available in the patient portal.

What happens if a subscription payment fails?

Stripe retries the payment once per business day for three business days. The patient is notified to update their card, and the clinic sees a clear flag in the Subscriptions tab. If every attempt fails, the subscription ends automatically – the clinic never provides care without payment, and the patient is never charged without knowing it.

How does the clinic get paid?

Payments go straight to the clinic’s own Stripe account and are paid out to your bank account on the payout schedule you choose. Curoflow never acts as an intermediary for patients’ money.

Can we set different prices for different visit types and patient groups?

Yes. Price and VAT are set per visit type, and the clinic can run several subscription plans at the same time – for example, one for follow-ups and one for talk therapy.

Fee created from the visit type

When an appointment is booked – by the patient in the portal, the app, or on your website, or by staff in the calendar – the fee is created automatically from the visit type’s price and VAT. If the patient has a subscription that covers the visit type, a visit is reserved from their plan and the fee is €0.

Curoflow has subscriptions built right into the healthcare platform. The clinic defines a plan – for example, two visits a month for €99 – and the patient signs up and approves it themselves. From then on, the card is charged automatically each period. Visits within the plan cost €0 at booking, and extra visits are billed at the regular price. Patients can always book, even when their plan is used up.

For the clinic, this means predictable recurring revenue and fewer missed payments. For the patient, care becomes as easy to keep up with as a music or gym membership – with full visibility into what’s included and when the next charge is due.

Visit bundles and treatment packages in the same system

Starting Q1 2027, clinics can sell visit bundles – ten visits at a package price – and treatment packages, where a defined series of visits, such as a neuropsychiatric assessment, is paid at one fixed price. It runs on the same system as subscriptions: the patient sees how many visits are left, and the clinic sees exactly what has been used and what has been prepaid.
