Curoflow has entered into a partnership with Giddir, a digital platform and laboratory portal for electronic referrals. Through the integration, clinics using Curoflow can send referrals for sample collection, track the status all the way to the finished test result and share the result with the patient \u2013 without leaving the platform.<\/p>\n

\u201dSample collection is one of the most administratively demanding parts of everyday clinical work \u2013 referrals have to be sent, test results monitored and the results then communicated to the patient in the right way. With Giddir, we can tie that entire chain together directly in Curoflow, from referral to finished result in the patient portal. That is exactly the kind of integration we want to offer our customers: fewer clicks, less administration and a more reassuring experience for the patient.\u201d \u2014 says Alexander Knezevic, CEO and co-founder of Curoflow.<\/em><\/p>\n

Automated referrals linked to booking<\/h2>\n

The integration makes it possible for clinics to send referrals for sample collection directly in Curoflow and then follow the entire process in real time \u2013 from the patient providing samples to the analysis being completed. Once the test results are ready, they become visible in the Curoflow platform and the care provider can choose whether the patient should be able to access the results directly via the patient portal.<\/p>\n

Workflows can also be automated. Care providers can link specific visit types to predefined sample collection packages, so that the referral is sent automatically as soon as a visit of the selected type is booked. A clinic that, for example, always wants to take a glucose reading ahead of a particular type of visit can set that up as a package in advance \u2013 something that is then triggered automatically at booking, with no manual handling.<\/p>\n
